Supervisor Vacancy: The Catawissa Township Board of Supervisors has a vacancy on the Board that they are responsible under Pennsylvania’s Second-Class Township Code to fill by selecting a resident that is a registered voter and a resident of the township for at least 1 year. The individual selected would serve through December 2025 but could run in 2025 to fill the remaining 5 years of this term through December 2030. Starting January 02, 2024, Catawissa Township all property owners who currently own and run Short Term Rental properties (rentals for less than 30 days) in the Township will be required to submit a Short-Term Rental application for approval by the Township Zoning Office. Permits are required as per Catawissa Township Ordinance 08-2023 – Short-Term Rental Operating Guide – duly adopted on October 10, 2023. Applications are available by contacting the Township.
