2026 Proposed Budget: The Catawissa Township proposed budget for 2026 has been prepared and approved by the Catawissa Township Board of Supervisors and is open to inspection at the Municipal Building’s outdoor bulletin board and the Township’s website. The final budget for 2026 will be adopted at the Township meeting to be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Catawissa Township Municipal building, 153 Old Reading Road, Catawissa. Starting January 02, 2024, Catawissa Township all property owners who currently own and run Short Term Rental properties (rentals for less than 30 days) in the Township will be required to submit a Short-Term Rental application for approval by the Township Zoning Office. Permits are required as per Catawissa Township Ordinance 08-2023 – Short-Term Rental Operating Guide – duly adopted on October 10, 2023. Applications are available by contacting the Township.
